The Greater Rio Area Collaborative Committee is made up of representatives from the Rio School District and each of the townships it serves. Our goal is to bring greater visibility to the area and to educate others about the unique opportunities the Greater Rio Area offers.
The mission of the Greater Rio Area Collaborative Committee is to engage interested citizens and organizations to actively promote the Greater Rio Area as a place to call home, to vacation, to farm and conduct commerce, and to receive a quality education.
Our vision is to continually strive to make the Greater Rio Area the best community in the state in which to reside and visit.
We believe that the Greater Rio Area is an oasis in the middle of Wisconsin. Even though we are a small area, what we have to offer appeals to a wide variety of people. From camping to making ceramics; farming to flooring; and life in the country to having the state capital just 20 miles away, the Greater Rio Area is a great place to be.
